Tri -State Service, LLC rates are as follows:

Basic Service Call Charge: $ 80 first hour or part of hour.

NO TRAVEL CHARGES, or unneeded parts.

Schools, churches, non-profits : $60 first hour or part of hour.

Longer jobs are in quarterly increments after first hour.

You call or e-mail for service, we come out to inspect,

determine and repair problem. Parts are additional.

In a situation where we get there and  see we need a part

and a return trip is needed, you don't get billed twice.

Other situations such as a machine that is looked at but

needs too much $$ in parts to fix, will be charged an

estimate fee of $ 40 only, to cover time and expenses.

Payment can be after the job, or be within 21 days.

Maintenance of several machines done quarterly

can be worked out to your satisfaction.

Maintenance is cheaper than contracts. Why?  You are ahead

of the problem and also get your moneys worth.

I do maintenance quarterly for several customers.

If you have a large number of printers, scanners

computers, or other equipment that you need

serviced regularly. It is definitely Cheaper.

Service contracts are for copiers. They need lots of parts and service.

You are paying for it up front on most types of copiers.

Thing is, do you ever get service, unless it breaks?

No preventative maintenance?

Then, what are you getting for your $contract$.

I don't have service contracts, but I do maintenance on

many customers. It's proactive and always cheaper !

To give you piece of mind, I back it all up.

In the event that the problem that was fixed

doesn't stay fixed within 30 days, I will make a free

trip back out there, no extra charges unless a part is needed.

This doesn't happen much, but I will stand behind the work.

Also: We put the parts in to keep you up and running and

maintaining good print quality. Not parts to pad the bill !!

I am an HP Printing solution provider, but am not

authorized to do warranty work,  and can't get paid for it.

I will gladly help an existing customer make decisions

on any problems with new equipment, but in general,

I do not handle equipment that is under warranty. This means

that if you bought something that has a warranty from HP

or a warranty from Office Max or Staples, and you expect it to

be done for free, you have to call the appropriate people

where you bought the equipment.

I can help with most non-warranty issues.

What about inkjets?

Inkjet printers can sometimes be fixed but almost always it

is cheaper to buy a new one. Get a Laser.

How about HP Designjets ?

Ninety-five percent fix rate.  The other 5% required too much in

parts, and we have helped guide customers to new equipment.

Why go to a service provider from out of the area that will

charge hundreds just to show up, when Tri-State Service

has solved virtually all problems  encountered ??

Same $ 80 per hour with no travel charge rate.

How about HP Laserjets ?

It is our specialty. We are respected enough in this area that:

We have several local Computer company's that use us.
